Privacy Policy

Memo ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Memo mobile application and website (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account info. Your name, email, phone number, and profile photo.
  • Content you share. Photos, videos, captions, reactions, and group membership.
  • Usage data. App diagnostics, device type, and crash logs to help us improve the Service.

How we use information

  • To operate the Service — deliver your photos to your groups and generate the nightly 9 PM recap.
  • To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
  • To communicate with you about your account.

Sharing

Content you post is visible only to members of the groups you create or join. We do not sell your personal data. We do not show advertising. We share data only with service providers required to run the app (for example, cloud hosting and email delivery), and only as needed.

Data retention

We keep your content as long as your account is active. You can delete a post, leave a group, or delete your account at any time from the app's Settings screen. Deletion removes your content from our systems within 30 days.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@memoapp.com. If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you have additional rights under local privacy laws.

Children

Memo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email.
